LensCrafters opened its first three flagship stores in New York City and San Francisco; Palo Alto was graced with LensCrafters’ fourth flagship when the store opened on July 1, 2022. Located at 270 University Ave., in the heart of downtown, LensCrafters optimized the beautiful ±3,300 Sq. Ft. retail space with its most technologically-minded store to date. The natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows paired with modern interior design creates a vibrant space for passersby popping in for a new pair of sunglasses or locals in need of an eye exam performed by in-house optometrists. There is also an exciting in-store display dedicated to Ray-Ban Stories, the first-generation smart glasses launched in partnership with Meta. LensCrafters saw Palo Alto as the perfect market for this tech-focused store that continues to provide the convenient services of their typical locations.
