Vietnamese Bistro Comes to Downtown Palo Alto

Premier Properties leased the corner building at 185 University Ave for the third location of the popular Vietnamese restaurant, Pho Ha Noi. Helen Nguyen, the owner, currently manages their locations in San Jose and Cupertino and had been searching for years for a suitable space on University Ave. In September 2022, the 5,000 sq. ft. building and outdoor parklet became the new home to a Vietnamese bistro offering cocktails, draft beers, and an introduction to “real pho broth” (in Nguyen’s words). The existing restaurants are known for serving pho with hefty beef short ribs, and Nguyen sources all of their beef directly from Harris Ranch. Palo Alto is set to be introduced to Pho Ha Noi in Spring 2023. Read the buzz about the new spot here, here, and here.
